I’m Sam. 25. I'm in love with too many boys. Kpop is a thing.

It glows in the dark!
Zayn
Malik is literally covered in tattoos at this point, so his getting a
new one isn’t exactly news. But there are always exceptions. A face tattoo is one. A glow-in-the-dark light saber is another.

Malik’s new ink—or we’re led to believe from the above Instagram—was done by his go-to guy, Jon Boy. It’s basically a tribute to every kid who ever liked Star Wars, magic tricks, action figures, and secretly giving people the finger after their bedroom door was closed. That is, all us in the 7th grade, and all 7th graders today.
As much as we wouldn’t advise anyone to cover their body in nerdy throwback tats, having one or two shoutouts to your youth is perfectly respectable. In case you’re wondering, Malik’s saber was done with UV ink which, while it may seem sketchy, has actually been around for decades. (Definitely cooler than picking up a pair of glow-in-the-darkshoes.)
My new tattoo.
Unconventional Minimalist Tattoos
An illustrator and graphic designer Caitlin Thomas opened up a tattoo studio Adelaide, South Australia to showcase her talent and eye for design. Composed of black lines, the simple tattoos she designs hold a paradoxical quality. They are both simple and complex. When one looks closer at the tattoos, its details and fine lines are revealed. Featuring whimsical subjects like the moon, wild life and different landscapes, Thomas creates stunning, artistic and stylish contemporary body art.
